Shrimps

Vannamei

Shrimp of the family Penaeidae follow a similar body design to that of most Malacostracans. That is, they are laterally compressed, elongate decapods, with a well-developed abdomen adapted for swimming. Each somite (segment) is enclosed by a dorsal tergum and ventral sternum. Cultivated using ecologically responsible, sustainable farming techniques in aqua farms along coastal India, our Vannamei Shrimps are a hot favorite the world over for their superior quality, versatility and affordability. We take pride in being one of the largest exporters and suppliers of these shrimps which are shipped in adherence to strict specifications and customization.

White Shrimp

White Shrimp is a species of prawn that was the first commercially important shrimp. Their bodies are bluish-white in color with slightly pink sides and tail flippers that are black near the base with green and yellow margins. They have long antennae and a long, toothed rostrum (a long extension out in front of the eyes). They have 10 walking legs and 10 swimming legs that they use to swim, burrow and crawl.

Deep Sea Pink Shrimp

The deep-sea shrimp are able to detect food falling to the seafloor. This is possible by their chordotonal (receptors) organs. Once the prey touches the seafloor it creates vibrations that clue the shrimp of the new food source. Otherwise the deep-sea shrimp waits until the sun sets to migrate to the top of the sea to feast on microscopic plants that grow in the sunlit surface waters.
